Open Face Pita Wraps

The holidays are right around the corner and we have the perfect plant-based recipe to please any group gathering. Open face pita wraps are so easy and the perfect grab and go meal. 

These wraps are great for holiday parties, family get-togethers or for just an everyday meal. Ready in less than 15 minutes, these wraps will leave you wanting more.

Ingredients:

  • 5-6 small pita bread
  • 8-10 WunderBites, heated per the packet instructions
  • Veggies - chopped onions, cucumbers, bell peppers, jalapeños
  • Herbs - cilantro or parsley 
  • 1/2 cup hummus 

Cilantro Lime Dressing:

  • 1/3 cup blanched almonds
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  •  juice of 1/2 - 1 lemon
  • 1/3 cup water or almond milk, add more if needed.
  • salt & pepper to taste

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F, bake the WunderBites until crispy on the outside (about 7 min).
  2. Warm pita bread and place them on a plate.
  3. Spread hummus on warmed pita bread and place WunderBites and veggies on the top. 
  4. Add dressing and herbs.
  5. Serve immediately
