Tahini Dressing with Turmeric and Golden Flaxseed
Gotta love a sauce ready in a few minutes!

PRO TIP - Always keep a bottle of blended flaxseed meal in your refrigerator to pour over smoothies, dips and yogurt parfaits. Flaxseed is a great source of dietary fiber (soluble and insoluble, protein and omega-3 fatty acids).
NOTE: Even if you skip the flaxseed meal, this dressing / sauce is just as good!
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1 tbsp ground golden flaxseed meal
- 1 whole lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Chilled water as needed
Add all the ingredients to a blender and make into a smooth paste. We love it at the consistency where it can be poured via a squeeze bottle. They are so easy to use and dress up almost anything!
In this picture we have used Turmeric Lentil Wunder Nuggets, baked, and placed over sliced cucumbers. Talk about an easy presentation :)
