Hema volunteers her time teaching cooking classes to home cooks and kitchen enthusiasts at the Austin Sustainable Food Center. To promote one such class on using spices, she visited the Fox 7 studios.

We had a blast recording this cooking segment with the wonderful host Lauren Petrowski for Good Day Austin. Hema made savory oatmeal that's a great breakfast, lunch or dinner! Thanks to the beautiful kitchens at the Sustainable Food Center - it was a wonderful experience for all!
